Celtic’s the Perfect Place Harry Kewell
New Celtic coach Harry Kewell has discussed what he has learned so far in coaching and where he is at before taking on the job in Celtic’s backroom staff. It was announced on Friday that Kewell would join Ange Postecoglou’s backroom staff for the forthcoming season, linking up with John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan as Stephen McManus take on a new role with the Celtic B team. So far, Kewell has managed Watford’s U23s, Crawley Town, Notts County, Oldham Athletic and Barnet but it is important to note that even though his managerial record may not be exemplary he is being appointed to Celtic as a coach not a manager. With everything that Ange has achieved so far at the club, he has plenty of credit in the bank and if he is onboard and wanted the appointment to go ahead, then everyone should be happy.
