Here is your Arsenal morning digest on Thursday, December 1.
Mudryk gives green light
Shakhtar forward Mykhaylo Mudryk has arguably been the name mentioned the most regarding Arsenal's potential transfer business as Mikel Arteta hopes to add depth to his midfield and attack in January.
The Ukrainian international has openly discussed his future, including an admission about his enjoyment of how Arsenal are playing at the moment and that he tries to keep up to date with their results, and the man himself has dropped another hint by liking a social media post that hypothesises the Gunners depth on the wings if he were to join.
In an Instagram post by AFTVmedia, a tweet was displayed in front of a backdrop showing Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Emile Smith Rowe and Mudryk that read: "Saka, Martinelli, Mudryk & Smith Rowe as winger options. All 22 or younger. Yes please."
Pulisic Chelsea price tag revealed
Christian Pulisic is attracting numerous headlines following his World Cup displays with the USMNT and speculation over where is future lies as a Chelsea exit seems likely. Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United are all in the hunt for the wantaway Blues star.
The former Borussia Dortmund man is seeking more game time and a move away from Stamford Bridge seems best for all parties with Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel and now possibly Graham Potter, seemingly unable to get the best out of the USMNT star.
However, his country have certainly seen what he can offer with a number of excellent World Cup performances that will likely only increase the fee Chelsea will demand for his services, and a price tag seems to have been set.
Arsenal make Kudus contact
Arsenal have joined Tottenham and Newcastle United in the race for Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus who has impressed at the World Cup for Ghana. Kudus scored twice in his nation's 3-2 win over South Korea which has placed them in a great position to qualify for the last 16 in their final group match against Uruguay.
The Gunners are set to face competition from 12 teams for Kudus though, after he backed up his impressive displays for Ajax so far this season with commanding performances for Ghana at the World Cup. Arsenal's fierce north London rivals Spurs are one of the teams interested as reported by Bild reported last month
But, a new report from 90 Min states that the Gunners and Newcastle went one step further by asking about his ‘current situation’ in the Netherlands.
Ajax could look to cash in on Kudus after his World Cup performances with another eight clubs, including PSG and Borussia Dortmund, interested in acquiring his services with the report adding that Kudus could be available for around £30million in the winter window.
